Teaching
At Rice, I teach undergraduate lecture courses on “Reproductive Health and Society” and “Medical Sociology,” as well as a graduate/undergraduate seminar on gender. My courses often count as an elective for CSWGS, STS, SOPA, and Medical Humanities.
At Florida State University, I taught an undergraduate honors course on the politics of reproduction and undergraduate and graduate courses in qualitative methods, sociological theory, and reproduction and society. In 2019, I was honored with a University Undergraduate Teaching Award at FSU, and I was awarded the FSU Sociology Graduate Student Union’s Outstanding Faculty Teaching Award three times.
